We’re kicking off the awesome that is the 12 hours of music to raise money for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
We have a Razi!
It’s that time of the year again my little weirdos. World Goth Day is nearly here and as the habit has formed, it’s time for the World Goth Fair. So this year the Cursed Events team has 3 sim full of awesome stuff to drain your wallet of all its precious Lindens.
WGF does have its own blog and you can find it HERE.
So, 3 sims full of Goth awesome all in the name of raising money for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation There will be a special DJ event running over 12 hours on the 22nd. The whole of the fair runs from May 15th to June 1st.
I can’t give you SIM LMs yet, but have a couple pictures instead. (Please click through to the larger images for more detail)
Fox Nacht, Lokii Violet and Neph did the wonderful work of building the sim. Some structural parts for the Cursed build are from the great guys at Bauwerk.
So just to show that there is a right way to do things, Axi and Cruel Britannia went out and talked to a bunch of bands that they know and we all love and got permission to use their band logos on tshirts. They were able to get permission from 34 bands to make tshirts for the WGF with all proceeds going to S.O.P.H.I.E. They are mesh shirts and there are male and female styles.
There are of course rares and the most sought after appears to be the You Shriek shirt. Not only because Razi & You Shriek is awesome, but because the gachas appear to like screwing with us and not giving out as many as we’d like. While not intentional on Axi’s part, it does mean that some ferocious trading is happening. Of course unless you’re like me and spend waaaaay to much trying to get that damned shirt. In the end my lovely friend Syn gave me hers.
I do have a complete set of shirts though…and oh so many duplicates.
Axi told Lokii not to summon anything. This of course meant that Lokii was pretty much required to summon something.
Meet Mr. Kraken.
You can’t feed him, but no one said I couldn’t make friends and feed him stupid people.

Here’s a close-up of the make-up, necklace and shoes for you.
Is it really a surprise that the first dress I’ve fallen in love with is one of the 3 dresses being offered by Malfean Visions? No, I didn’t think so either. Here’s some World Goth Faire offerings.
So the World Goth Faire is up and rolling and I’ve got the SLURLs for you.
WGF on Cursed (This is an adult sim)
WGF on Port Seraphine (This is a moderate sim)
The Faire is May 15th to 31st and proceeds will go to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. Go buy things and enjoy.
So as I said, first in what promises to be a long line of posts is one of the three dresses being offered by Malfean Visions. This is totally my favourite too. It’s a bit French burlesque/Victorian goth feel about it. I love it. Of course there are many colours, but of course I’m in the Red and Black.
For my jewellery I am wearing Lassitude & Ennui’s offering for the fair. I love skulls and bones in necklaces. I’ve been all over SL looking for good skull necklaces. So this bone necklace is fantastic. The set is completed with little drop earring and a circlet, (which I’m not wearing), that is in the same sort of shape as the necklace.
I’m not wearing my normal skin either. I have the Jalwa skin Jezebel on. This is a the vamp shade and looks quite good. It’s nice to see a white goth skin that isn’t sporting raccoon eyes.
Couple of close ups so you can see the make-up detail on the skin and L&E’s lovely necklace and earrings.
Non-WGF things I’m wearing.
More WGF sim preview. Don’t worry, I have much clothes to show you, but I think very often the hard work that goes into the building of the environments for these faires gets overlooked. Both locations are wonderfully laid out and a pleasure to see and walk through. A lot of thought went into both locations and I want to show them off too. The builders deserve much credit.
So this time the buildings were made my Nephilaine and the putting everything in its place was done by Lokii Violet (Mistress of building shiny stuff) and Axi Kurmin (WGF Mistress). So without further ado, some shiny unadulterated pictures.
